Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rhove platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Rhove is a platform that enables community organizations to collect payments from their members. The platform provides payment scheduling, WhatsApp reminders, Stripe-powered checkout, and real-time tracking of collections.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an organization account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Organization Administrators

As an organization administrator, you agree to:

• Use the platform only for lawful payment collection purposes.
• Accurately describe payment schedules and amounts to members.
• Comply with all applicable laws regarding financial transactions.
• Not use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes.
• Complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts and comply with Stripe's terms of service.

5. Members

As a member of an organization, you acknowledge that:

• Payments are made to the organization, not to Rhove.
• Rhove facilitates the payment process but is not a party to the transaction between you and the organization.
• You may opt in to receive WhatsApp notifications and can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
• Refund requests must be directed to the organization administrator.

6. Payments and Fees

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Rhove does not store payment card information.
• Platform fees are charged on each transaction. Fee rates may be adjusted and are visible to organization administrators.
• Fee allocation (absorbed by organization, passed to member, or split) is configured by the organization administrator.
• Funds are transferred directly to the organization's connected Stripe account.

7. WhatsApp Notifications

Rhove sends payment reminders and notifications via WhatsApp. By opting in, you consent to receive these messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the platform for money laundering or terrorist financing.
• Collect payments for illegal goods or services.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access unauthorized data.
• Use automated systems to scrape or interact with the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

Rhove is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Outstanding payment obligations survive termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
